Embarazada siendo Millennial

José piensa lo mismo so… ¡fuera malas vibras!

Hello everybody! I’ve been a bit lost around here, but if you follow me on my social networks, you will already know why: José and I are expecting! They have been days full of feelings and many changes both physical (the move) and emotional. However, we are very happy, I confess that I always wanted to be a young mother and that, despite the discomfort that I have felt, I am very grateful for this great blessing.

Today I want to talk about a topic that I have come across a lot lately and that I am living in my own flesh; it’s about everything that happens when you’re a millennial mom. Opinions of third parties, social life, work, partner, age, social networks, economy … how to survive all these factors and be happy in the attempt? Keep reading!

First things first: the comments about my age. People tend to think that we are not yet capable of being parents and even like to jump to conclusions that it was something unplanned. Well, this is completely false. As I mentioned, it was always clear to me that I wanted to have my children at an early age and now I feel that I am at the ideal moment of my life. José thinks the same, so, goodbye bad vibes!

The subject of your partner is also very important to me and therefore my main advice is: trust, support and communication. Pregnancy is a time full of physical and emotional changes, discomfort, mood changes and an endless amount of other symptoms. That is why it is vital to have a person you can always count on, no matter what happens. The rest will come only with time, patience and love.

As for social media, that is another story. I think there are too many myths around pregnancy that we must begin to debunk. Every day we are bombarded with images and stories of perfect pregnant women, with the ideal body, the dream family and the list goes on and on. That is why I decided to live my pregnancy in the most real and authentic way possible, showing who I am and how I feel at all times …

Real photos, of a real mom who has hard times, who feels bad, who lives in a constant swing of emotions, a person like you and like any other. It is precisely because of how happy and grateful I feel with life that I decide to live my gestation period to the fullest, without so many expectations and without caring so much what they will say.

For now I can tell you that I am living day to day, dealing with situations as they arrive. I’ve had a lot of discomfort, which is perfectly normal. I am taking good care of myself, eating healthy and satisfying my cravings, and I will continue to do so.

If you want to know more information about my pregnancy, discovery, surprise, plans and reaction of our relatives, subscribe to my YouTube channel where the two parts of the story are already on video.

Thanks for so much support! I adore you!
