¡Holaaa amigas! Espero que estén muy bien y que Septiembre esté siendo un mes increíble para todas. Les hago un breve update de mi vida: la barriga sigue creciendo y los síntomas de los primeros meses han disminuido bastante. Mia ama el colegio, me encanta ver cómo lo disfruta al máximo, ¡cada día es una nueva experiencia!
Yo me estoy tomando este embarazo con bastante calma, quiero aprovechar cada segundo de mi barriguita y hacerlo muy especial. Muy pronto celebraremos el gender reveal (¡no puedo esperar!), así que ya les compartiré muchos más detalles.
Hablando de tomarme este embarazo con calma, les cuento que he retomado el hábito de la lectura. Siempre me ha gustado muchísimo pero como mamá de un toddler no siempre tenía todo el tiempo del mundo para leer un libro. Ahora, trato de aprovechar las noches o algunas mañanas cuando Mia está en el colegio para regalarme ese tiempo a mi misma y relajarme, ¿y que mejor forma de hacerlo que con un buen libro?
Leer puede considerarse como uno de los mejores hobbies de la vida. Puede que parezca exagerado pero la sensación de evasión, desconexión y libertad que se siente es irremplazable. Y no solamente eso, sino que la lectura de libros nos hace libres y combate el aburrimiento, nos hace más inteligentes, fomenta el desarrollo personal y profesional, favorece la conversación y las relaciones, libera emociones, es el ejercicio para mantener un cerebro sano y animado, además de ser un antídoto contra la soledad.
En ese orden de ideas, hoy les comparto la lista de mis libros favoritos de Target, ¡recomendadísimos! Cuéntenme cual es su género y su libro preferido, ¡hablemos un rato!

Hi! I hope you are very well and that September is being an incredible month for all of you. Let me give you a brief update on my life: the belly continues to grow and the symptoms of the first months have diminished a lot. Mia loves school, I love seeing how she enjoys it to the fullest, every day is a new experience!
I am taking this pregnancy quite calmly, I want to take advantage of every second of my belly and make it very special. We will celebrate the gender reveal very soon (can’t wait!), so I’ll share a lot more details with you!
Speaking of taking this pregnancy in stride, let me tell you that I have gotten back into the habit of reading. I have always liked it very much but as a mom of a toddler I did not always have all the time in the world to read a book. Now, I try to take advantage of the nights or some mornings when Mia is at school to give myself that time and relax, and what better way to do it than with a good book?
Reading can be considered one of the best hobbies in life. It may seem exaggerated but the sense of escape, disconnection and freedom that you feel is irreplaceable. And not only that, but reading books makes us free and fights boredom, makes us smarter, encourages personal and professional development, favors conversation and relationships, releases emotions, is exercise to maintain a healthy brain and lively, as well as being an antidote to loneliness.
